Hi guys,

sorry for not checking in.
I had a cold that was strong enough to even pause…

Normally I am getting super pissed when sick and need to pause. This time I was able to accept.

Still not 100% okay but thinking about getting a small swim in today. Not sure yet.

Next week I will have the personal 1:1 coaching… Sure I am worrying if this was the right idea. Hmmm.

Did good with the eating so far. Body feeling is so so.

Happy Sunday everyone.
After 2 days of being a bum I hopped on the treadmill for 30 min of walk / jog intervals. My walk pace was 5k per hour and Jog was 7k per hour. Feeling much better both mentally and physically now. Full workout planned for tomorrow. Gonna go dig up some weeds now.

Back to the gym and moving heavy things around after a 2 week break. I did run like 6.5 k yesterday because the weather was so perfect. Learned my dog isn’t the great running companion I hoped . He just refuses to keep up.

Really pushed myself with dumbell presses today and felt strong. Seeing my my volume steadily climb gives me motivation.

Started coaching baseball today again too and I was amazed to see the improvement in the returning kids over the last year.

Day1

I made it back to the gym today. I figured while I have a large amount of my day free I might as well utilize some of that time to hit the gym.

Ive been watching a couple of my mates push themselves to get better and start moving. This helped motivate me.

Upper body A today. Tomorrow is lower body.

I have a 4 day split. Im going to try add more cardio in as well. My new routine is planned around my hernia.

Shoulders workout done and dusted. Day 2 of baseball practice in the books. I think we made it fun for the kids. First scrimmage on Thursday.

Hump day leg day tomorrow so I’m gonna need to get my sleep on.

I’m grateful for my short and average but capable body. Hoping it holds out for a while yet.

Day 2

Lower body work out a

Standard leg day was nice to get back on a leg press today.

Being back is super humbling. Trying to stick to my 12 week plan staying light and working on form for the first 2 weeks. Even slow and controlled work is putting me in my place right now. Ive had to back off quite a few kilos on my lifts.

Yesterday went for a run/walk. Slowly increasing the ratio of running to walking. Then did an emom while the kids trained.

I’ve been working at it still, keeping busy! I’m getting used to my Garmin functions still, it’s a lot more technical and in depth than the fitbit…

Anyone use certain apps or AI to generate gym programs?

Yeah I use the twitter one, grok,I find it very useful/helpful,I find it very strange though, its like having a personal trainer it remembers everythingr:+1:t2::grinning_face:

Youve just got to tell it what you want and what type of routine you want,I also use it to keep track on my diet/deficit,its helped me get back into training again :flexed_biceps:t2:

Bit of motivation aswell !!:flexed_biceps:t2::+1:t2:

Handstand shoulder taps?! That sounds impressive

I use chatgpt for my dumbell workouts. Love it! I also created a running training plan for my next 10k. Teach it your priorities and it can easily tailor
