I’m grateful for many things including the fact that I am tired it’s been a great day, long, fun, challenging and rewarding. I’m grateful that I can accept that I’m to tired to write out all my gratitude and know that I put enough effort into this gratitude practice on the regular that I can say I love myself, my HP and all of you wonderful people and cut myself a break and say… Goodnight.
God bless you all. &
p.s. you are amazing…ya you!!
That was so very kind of you to reach out. I’m getting through it like we all do, day by day. And trying to learn the lessons along the way. I’m grateful for you and this thread of super people!
It’s been awhile since my last gratitude post. And there is so much to be grateful for considering the world we are living in. Sometimes…OK a lot of times I look at what’s going on around the world and think how so lucky I am. If I even tried to fully comprehend the pain and suffering out there and try to keep that in mind I would go insane. It’s sad and discouraging, but that is life and I can’t change the world.
So all I can really do and change is myself by working every day to be better to myself and better for the people around me. I’m grateful for so much. I’m just 1 fortunate human. I guess that’s all I will say today.
And
Bye for now…
Thank you for the idea of the ginger ale, lime, etc…going to have to try that! Sounds refreshing!
I am grateful for another beautiful sober day and the ability to pay my bills today without hesitation or wonder of where has my money gone? I am grateful for my job, (even though I have to work on a Saturday this week). Thanks to all of you for your daily gratitudes!

Grateful today!
- For my husband, who always tries his best to be a good partner and friend and all the lessons we have learned together over the last 14 years (and 8 months! Married quick)
- For this gorgeous sunny, warm day!
- For Brené Brown’s podcast Unlocking Us that I’m listening to with Oprah and Dr. Bruce Perry about trauma, my prior training in trauma informed care and the importance of asking “what happened to you,” as opposed to “what’s wrong with you,” or, “why did you do that.” I’m so grateful through therapy that I’m delving into some of my own stuff.
- For my doctor’s appointment next week to follow up on some nonsense I’m dealing with and the fact that I’m getting quality healthcare.
Always so grateful for my amigos here.
I’m grateful to God please help me be better today than I was yesterday and to remain clean and sober. I’m grateful for my recovery and that it continues to be the most important thing I have and work on. I’m grateful for all my family, friends, TS and the gratidudes. I’m grateful that I can add more later. God bless you all. &
p.s. you are AWESOME. ya you!!

I’m grateful that I have some financial stability. I’m grateful that I got to go bike riding today and have plans to go again tomorrow. I’m grateful that I have an NA zoom meeting tonight. If anyone wants to join pm me. I’m grateful that Igot my laundry going.
Going to hang out on this thread for a while if you dont mind… I have so much to be grateful for lately…

- Everything will be okay.
- We have to move soon, so I know new adventures await us…
- My daughter
I didn’t know something happened to your dog, Sarah! I’m so sorry. Good for you for practicing gratitude through tough stuff. I found this today going through old papers and wanted to share (and I was grateful I found it!). In my very early recovery, in the heat of an anxiety attack, I wrote this down as a comfort and kept it close to reread it.
I am going to read your list over and over today. Yeah, our poor doggo is in the hospital with 2 blockages. One in his stomach and one in his intestines. Sucks waking up to this anxiety but focusing on the fact that he will be okay. I hope.
@Dazercat Thanks Eric, I loved reading how you are grateful for the dentist! Its all about perspective.
Thinking of you and the pup!! I hope he has a speedy recovery
Grateful for the loveliest day of explorations with my sister. For zero alcohol pina coladas. For walking and talking all day - 35000 steps! For naps on long train journeys. For my safe, lovely home to return to. For the excitement that tomorrow I will hit 30days alcohol free! Goodnight all x
