My sentiments exactly! Don’t think I need to add more to my list today, other than I’m grateful for you guys.
Everyone have a wonderful day

Welp…🥲🥲🥲
I’m just sitting here this morning flooded with tears of gratitude. 500 days today. I could not have done this without all the support from all of you at TS. And my God given strength.
Thank y’all for getting me here. I got way toooooo much to be grateful for to list it all. 🥲🥲🥲
🥲
A wonderfully nurturing atmosphere is created when people help other people by being themselves and sharing their own experiences. I will contribute to this interchange today.
We meet as equals and help one another, not because some are experts and others are learners, but because we all have needs and strengths
Courage To Change
Congratulations on 500 days!
Congratulations!!! What a number. I always love your shares here and the encouragement to focus on our blessings. Hope you have the best day today!
Pray tell.
My wife would be very grateful to know. The dank shower and hard hard water out here makes it impossible to clean. Please share
@Dazercat. It is called Wet & Forget Shower Cleaner. I’m not against scrubbing, so that isn’t what drew me in. It got really good reviews when I researched it. Unfortunately, though, although it was supposed to be in some local stores, I could not find it. I had to order it from the Demon Amazon. Great stuff. I sprayed it quite thoroughly and let it stay overnight for about 10 hours. I was weeping openly when I saw what a great job it did. A little pricey, but worth every cent. I value cleanliness above many other things.
My wife is chuckling about “weeping openly” and is looking it up right now. The shower is one of her arch enemies.
Thanks.
I’m still grateful to be home! I’m grateful to have my coffee and gratitude in the morning, not night time like yesterday.
I’m grateful to have this day for home and getting ready for the week ahead, and I’m grateful I don’t use these kind of days as an excuse to have a cider with lunch and then keep sipping the rest of the day. I’m grateful I don’t miss that fog. I’m beyond grateful to be sober - especially when life serves up the tough stuff.
I’m grateful to be reunited with the dog girl after my trip! Grateful “her dad” loves her just as much as I do, that she loves us both, (and that we can joke about how she turned out way better than any human child we would have raised!). Grateful I will take her to the trails today, and grateful I can test out my new day hikers.
I’m grateful for all the support to be and stay sober, and for this practice of gratitude, for this thread, and just how much it adds to my recovery. Grateful for all of you.
I’m grateful for another day.
ps - yep, I lol’d at the “weeping openly”!
I’m grateful for the bravery to try new things. I’m grateful for the friend who spoke with such encouragement and understanding, with a healthy dose of dry humour, when I told him that I am no longer drinking. I’m grateful that this is sober weekend number 5 done and for now I have no desire to have a drink. I’m grateful for the stoies people share on here. Goodnight all!
I’m grateful to God please help me be better today than I was yesterday. The day is over half done but that’s ok. I’m grateful to God please help me stay clean and sober. I’m grateful for my family, friends, TS and the grati-dudes. I’m grateful that I went out for a bike for some excersise again today with a couple friends. I’m grateful @Dazercat reached his 500 day milestone, let’s keep it going. I’m grateful that @M-be-free49 our gratidudes originator is happy to be home. I’m grateful that @Lisa07 is moderating and hopefully enjoying it, same goes for @Mno. I’m grateful that I have my NA homegroup tonight. I’m grateful that the NHL playoffs are on t.v. I stopped watching hockey but used to play alot being a good old Canadian boy so I do like it. I’m grateful to God. I’m grateful I have phone time and to realize, I should call my sister. I’m grateful that @Mbwoman @Sunflower1 @anon74766472 @RosaCanDo @Beforemy30s are consistently here to support me and my gratitude it doesnt go unnoticed.
God bless you all. &
p.s. I can’t but together we can, so thank you. ya you!!
@I.cant.We.can, I love your list today, and I’m grateful for all the Gratidudes too.
On another note- I just returned from watching my first ever hockey game? Match? Well whatever you call it hockey I’d pretty badass!! We totally got our butts kicked by Ontario, but it was a lot of fun to watch!
Today I am grateful for a fresh new week. Things are a little upside down with an injury causing me to struggle a little bit to feel happy and productive, but I am grateful for coffee and supportive friends. I am grateful to have access to a pool at a gym where I can swim laps instead of run when I am feeling up to it. It will be a tough week with these limitations but in the grand scheme it could really be a whole lot worse and I don’t have a hangover to add to it, so that rocks. Ever so grateful to all of you!!
I’m grateful to God I don’t drink.
I’m grateful to God I don’t depend on booze.
I’m grateful for all the very nice compliments and accolades from everyone on TS. It really makes me feel great I’m kinda grateful they are still coming in. I’m grateful my kids are proud of me.
I’m grateful my wife is proud of me.
I’m grateful I’m really being tested out here in Santa Monica and I’m finding it’s not much of a test. I guess I been studying for 500 days now. And the fact that I was failing the test for 45 years of my life really gave me a solid foundation to say Fuck You to my booze.
I’m grateful we are all in this together. And that we all have our own journey. We can all get there as long as we never give up. No matter what happens on our journey.
I don’t care where you’ve been,
and I don’t care what you’ve done.
I want to tell you you’re a wonderful person.
you’re such a good person.
You are beautiful
And You deserve to soar
Earnie Larsen
My sentiments to all of you on this journey. But Earnie has the best words
I am grateful for my friend who listened to me today while we were having lunch, without judging me a single second
I am grateful for my italian penfriend. She made me laugh a lot this morning, during our weekly zoom meeting.
I am grateful for my father, who always gives me wonderful advice to keep going.
I am grateful for the community I have found on this forum a few weeks ago, giving me the strength to keep going Big thanks to you all
Welcome Freeasabird to our wonderful caring supportive community. We are glad you found us.
The coffee is always on here. I hope you can stick around awhile.
Thank you very much for this nice greeting ! Believe me, I will !
Esther welcome to TS, it sounds like you have so much to be grateful for. I am very glad you found us.
I’m grateful for the young families that rallied around my son to lift him up on his 6th birthday. He had SO much fun and the weather was gorgeous. The people that came all sincerely seemed very eager to have more gatherings at our place to let the kids run wild.
I’m so thankful for the lessons I’m learning in the vein of not giving up.
I’m grateful for the grace that my wife carries herself with while I am going through some of my bullshit default character defects.
I’m thankful for the higher power that was with me even while I was humming along on a bus with no brakes.
I’m grateful that I have been paying the daily rent to be given the reprieve for some of the most consistent sobriety of my life.
Life is still shit some days but I’m thankful that I have found faith in something greater than me.
@Dazercat Glad I could provide some comic relief. Gratitude again today as the shower remains gleaming and intact. With a cleaner so effective I was afraid I would wake up to big holes in the finish. That would have burst my bubble pretty quick!
I’m grateful for Monday morning coffee treats. For being in the position to help people out at work. For repairing relationships. For my cat who did THE cutest yawn of all time this morning. For interesting books: I’m reading The Body Keeps The Score, which is heavy going but fascinating.
