I’m grateful I read this, this morning and I wanted to share. And for some reason your gratitude list inspired me to share it here with this little gratitude support group.
“Don’t aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.
David Frost.
And I was thinking don’t aim for success???
I think we ARE doing what we love (being sober) and believe in. (Being sober) And that WILL make us successful.
Great job on day 5. And you’re so right one day at a time. Maybe one morning at a time. Or one afternoon at a time. Or one hour at a time. I’m grateful I’m not drinking today and that’s good enough.
What a great quote, I don’t think I’ve ever heard that quote before but I love it. It’s so true.
Thank you for sharing!
Today I am grateful for:
- lazy sober Sunday morning’s. The opportunity to sleep in without feeling guilty.
- having the strength to stick to my fast, which is also taking my mind off of wanting to drink.
- videos of cats jamming in baths from wonderful new friends on this forum. Thanks @Dazercat.
- long Sunday walks in the English countryside.
- time to read, relax and reflect tonight.
- God and his patience with me.
- all you guys
Hope we all have a wonderful sober week ahead.
