-Another sober day.
-Everyone here on TS and the amazing, supportive community we have.
-For the peaceful walk I took with my dogs and wife this morning, which was hangover free.
-The great workout I got in after that walk.
-My new health supplements that came in the mail (protein powder/ greens supplement)
Grateful that my knee is acting up again. It still works pretty well, and I have two of them.
Grateful that the weather is changing, windy and getting colder.
Grateful that the leaves are changing colors and falling.
Grateful that I’m getting fat. I do this sometimes, and it’s ok. At least I’m strong and energetic.
Grateful for whatever challenges life presents. No pain, no gain.
Grateful I found this gratitude thread after I posted all my gratitude on a different thread. Without realizing it. I knew the title wasn’t quite the same. Oh well. Gratitude can be anywhere.
Grateful for experiencing some interesting weather.
Grateful for finding the melatonin supplement that works best for me.
Grateful that I woke up feeling rested and energetic.
Grateful for finding canned sardines that actually taste good. I didn’t know that was possible.
Grateful that my brother is connecting with me more after I apologized to him.
Grateful for 9 freakin months sober!
Grateful to God or whatever reason I’ve never had the immediate urge to drink. At least I can’t remember.
Grateful I romanticize and fantasize about drinking more often than not, but continue to live “I am not drinking today and I’m probably not drinking tomorrow!”
Grateful for 9 months of no fucking hangovers.
Grateful that in the last 9 months I have not once woke up at 2 or 3 or 4 am with a hangover so bad I had to drag my lousy ass into the shower and sit with hot water just running down on me for a good half hour to somehow feel just a tad ok.
Grateful I sleep mostly through the night now.
Grateful for my clear head.
Grateful I’m not a drunk anymore.
Grateful I have my health and wife and grown up children and their lovely spouses and my pets and my sister and my house and home.

I’m grateful I have the strength to not eat any of the bacon I’m cooking this am because it’s for lunch and I want to maintain my goal weight. And snacking on delicious bacon this morning is not on my to do list.
Grateful we didn’t get to hike yesterday but we did have a picnic lunch out at a park near by. Grateful we are going to try and make Saturday nights movie nights. At least I’m going to try. Give me something to look forward too.

I’m grateful for an “addictive personality”, because I realize now that this is a force that can be used for good.
Grateful for progress on my squat. I had 365 pounds on my back this morning, but I could only do a partial rep. My legs aren’t strong enough YET. Then I did two sets of five with 305. It was all pretty uncomfortable because I have chronic low back pain and a bad knee, but I felt fine afterward. I’m going for 400. This year.
