Grateful for another morning sober and hangover free with my buddy sitting on my lap and the fire going in the fireplace.

Grateful it’s Thanksgiving tomorrow and basically I don’t have to do shit! I’m set and ready to enjoy a low key Thanksgiving just the 2 of us with our pets. No cooking. No million pots and pans and dishes to clean.
I’m grateful I can just run over to the club and pick up our turkey dinners at 1 pm tomorrow.
Grateful for the people working at the club on Thanksgiving day to cater to people like me.
Grateful I live in this beautiful golf club community and there’s almost no one around this time of year and it feels like we have the place to ourselves.
I’m Grateful for all the healthcare workers that will be working their asses off this Holiday season instead of being home with their family where they should be because so many people are selfishly traveling instead of staying the fuck at home. Sorry :persevere:

Grateful for my Father-In-Law. The other morning he sent me a text just to tell me he’s proud of me and grateful to have me in his life. I’m closer and more open with him than I am my own father. I’ve given him plenty of reasons to not feel this way about me, but he’s always been there for me, ever since I’ve known him.

Grateful to be spending this holiday with my family. I’ve missed a couple Thanksgivings, because I decided to stay home by myself and drink in bed.

Grateful to have a few days off to be able to relax from the busyness of life.
