Grateful for my walk yesterday in my own personal winter wonderland land.
Grateful I’ve already started putting some of my Christmas decorations away.

Grateful Santa left me a Zappos box under my tree.
Grateful for my family.
Grateful for my health.
Grateful for all the healthcare workers out there. Hopefully they’re getting their vaccinations and doing well with them.

I’m grateful for my recovery. I’m greatful to God. I’m greatful for my family. I’m greatful for TS. I’m greatful for my friends. I’m greatful that I already prayed and did my daily readings. I’m greatful for the nature music playing in the background. I’m greatful that as I was getting ready to write this list my housemate asked me to have a coffee and play a game of cribbage which was great, I put down the phone and enjoyed the moment. I’m greatful to be learning to live in these moments. I’m greatful I already emailed back and forth with Mom this a.m. I’m greatful I get to go make dinner for myself and the Wayside crew. I’m greatful that we planned a Sunday dinner for a late Christmas celebration for me and my six housemates, if we all attend. I’m greatful for my new bedside lamp thanks to my wonderful sister. I’m greatful for the new snow on the ground.

Dec.30.
I’m super grateful for the support that this forum provides - at all hours! I’m grateful that I got to sleep too late after reading and chatting with pals here and that I woke up happy and hangover free. :relaxed:

Grateful for good books and the time on holidays to read them. Indulged in my fave holiday habit the last few mornings: taking the first cup of coffee back to bed (because I suck at sleeping in) and reading a few more chapters while the sun rises.

Grateful for all of the photos my parents took of our lives - and grateful that I have had this week to sort through them. Helps me feel connected to the life we had. Grateful that I’ve got pics of my grandparents and great grands too - helps me feel connected to them.

Grateful as always for those two amazing people, M and D. Will try again to do 'em proud today.

Grateful there’s about 36ish hours left in the year - gonna tackle a to do list today and tomorrow so I can wake up “ahhhhh” and hangover free on Jan.01!

Grateful for another day. :orange_heart:

EDIT: grateful as always for the dog girl, Scout! (Named after Scout Finch, character in To Kill a Mockingbird). More about the dog girl later, @Dazercat ! But what the heck are Zappos?

Grateful for a routine that my partner and I have been working together to stick to.

Grateful for opportunity to choose how to spend my day.

Grateful for this community and sober podcasts like “Seltzer Squad”.

Sending love out and breathing peace in.

Dec.31!
I’m grateful to be sober. I’m grateful that this year of all years, I realized I need sobriety. I probably could have limped things along and duped myself and others for years more, maybe even for the rest of my life, but that just doesn’t seem like wholehearted living - now that I’ve tasted this life.

I’m super grateful for this forum and the pals I’ve made here and the support we share - I wouldn’t be sober without it.

I’m grateful for my cell phone and the pals in different time zones I’ve talked to already today, and that “long distance charges” aren’t really a thing anymore.

I’m grateful for the outdoors and that I love being in them - even just a walk in the fresh cold air makes me feel so alive and so appreciative.

Always grateful for my dear M and D and the life they gave me. Hope I do something today to make 'em proud.

Grateful for another day. The last day o’ 2020! :orange_heart:

Oh man, I never even knew about Zappos, but now that I see all I can’t have? There goes my gratitude for everything ever! Out the window!

Nah. It’s okay. I still have decent treads. What do you think, @I.cant.We.can - I think we’ll survive okay without Zappos. But a picture of those boats would be good! (Size 16 Eric? Really?)

I think I’m greatful for no long distance charges too. I never would’ve guessed shoes. Feeling a little emasculated in my size tens Lmao there goes my gratitude :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Lol! :joy:
Yes, here we are in Canada, wandering the snowy streets Zappo-less with our tiny feet!
Okay - I have to go make something of this last day of the year instead of sitting here laughing!
Though I’m grateful for the laughs  :orange_heart:

Oh you poor Canadians. Living in the dark ages of shoe delivery. I guess if y’all don’t have Zappos I’m not moving to Canada.

Ya, I didn’t get picked on too much when I was young.
I was the only little boy at first communication whose grandfather had to paint my shoes white.
As Jesus is my witness I kid you not. :pray:t2::pray:t2:

So I don’t get off topic with the MODS

I’m grateful I have happy feet :foot::smiley::stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:
