I’m grateful Norma and the Dallas peeps are set to visit us in March.
I’m grateful Gus’s parents took us up on the short notice for Gus to sleep over Valentine’s night.
I’m grateful I got a lot of bullshit phone calls and emails out of the way yesterday. I’m grateful now I wait. I’m grateful they will get back to me when they get back to me or I’ll call them or email them again.
I’m grateful for Alice’s really loud MEOW!! for such a little old kitten.
I’m grateful for my new calmness but I still have to work on myself. I’m grateful I get to work on my sober self. Many times I wonder why I’m still working on myself when others seem to stay the same. Then I’m grateful I remember what my sponsor always says. “To compare is to despair.” Then I remember I’m doing it for me and if it makes me feel good then what am I griping about.
I’m grateful when the Dallas peeps complain they don’t have enough $$$ and then they go do this and that, that cost $$$ and I think well that’s a waste of money, and I’m grateful I then think to keep my mouth shut I’m grateful I remember I cannot control them and their finances. And I’m more grateful I don’t know what they need. I barely know what I need.
I’m grateful to find it fascinating how my 2 children bring up my grandchildren in a completely different way in a completely different world. I’m grateful to support their decisions. Neither way is the way I’d do it. But I’m grateful to know I had my chance. And I fucked up my children in my own loving parental way. I’m grateful I’m not raising children at my age in this world. God bless all you parents out there
I’m grateful that when I got home from work there was still daylight and I played some basketball.. also grateful it was 78 degrees on the ride home.. very excited for summer and can feel it right around the corner. Most things I enjoy doing as far as hobbies are easier or better in day light. I feel like every winter I go through this feeling I’ve had for the last couple months and every winter I try to understand why I feel weird or off and it’s because of lack of sunlight and the gloominess..Also I think it’s from not sweating! every year I go through this and by the time I realize why it’s because the weather changes and the clock goes forward. Anyway .. I’m very grateful to have made it through another winter and very much looking forward to this summer and I feel like it’s going to be the best summer so far in my life. Very Grateful! Grateful for everything.. The good and the bad.
PS: they need to invent something that gives the world more daylight or you can choose your brightness like on your phone!! Like some kind of remote control and you point it at the sky and makes it less dark! Day light settings ! Obviously this is a joke but that would be amazing and would pay ridiculous money for that remote

Today I’m grateful I accomplished a lot this week without getting overwhelmed. I’m grateful I work, fumble, rest and pet at my pace. I’m grateful for sleeping meds and waking up rested.
I’m grateful to be surrounded by purrs and fluffyness. I’m grateful for the love, joy and laughter my zoo brings into my life. My shoulders and neck are shredded but I don’t care because my mini-fluff is a hop-on-shoulder-cat atm Hat, cape, stick and the witch is purrfect
I’m grateful for daily, continuous efforts I put into proceeding with big tasks. I’m grateful I finally have time, energy and mojo to tackle them. Let’s see when my tree-cutting mojo has enough and wanders off My chores mojo takes a break atm but kindly stops by every few days for a visit
I’m grateful for my humor and that I always have something to smile & laugh about. I’m grateful I’m a jolly person and life is light atm. And fun. And a bit crazy.
I’m grateful I live on a hill where it’s normal that you stop your car and wait until the ducks on the road decide where they want to go. Many people have ducks here.
Raising kids in a very complicated world isn’t easy. We need grandparents who support our families. Doing things differently is necessary because the world changed. Thank you so much for understanding. It brought tears in my eyes and made my heart smile.
Independent journalism and free speech. It helps me understand our crazy world a little better. And understanding helps to not get lost in hopelessness.
Milas tender meow. She is the sweetest cat. For the first months, she kept hiding under the couch. Then she learned that we actually aren’t such bad people. Now she wants to be cuddled for hours.
My love caring for me. As a single mom for many years, I cared for everything by myself. Now my loving and caring partner is doing things for me. Like cooking. I slowly start to enjoy it without feeling to owe him anything but a heartfelt thank you.
Enough time to help my neighbours with their pets. Giving food to Rosa, Nala and Sanza while my neighbours are on their holidays. Walking Bella, while her Daddy is at the hospital. It feels good to help. I don’t need anything in return. Helping others is the best I can do to make the world a better place.
The presence and support I’m able to give when needed
Hot showers
My lush bed and having a not too bad sleep last night
Not feeling too nervous about a meeting I have in the morning and my ex husband being there, basic catch up with relevant professionals on how my son is getting on at his medical in term school
Rocky and the joy he brings to us all
My knee not feeling too bad (osteoarthritis in it) even though I’ve upped my cardio at the gym, gradual progress
