Monday evening gratitude.
Today I’m grateful for living at my pace. I’m grateful I accomplish things in a not-stressful way. I’m grateful I rest when I need it. And boy, I need a lot of sleep these days. I’m grateful for naps. I’m grateful my nightsleep is not too disordered as I accomodate to fall temperatures and shorter daylight.

I’m grateful I grieved with a friend yesterday who had to put her old doglady to sleep. The price we pay for love.
I’m grateful for vet appointment tomorrow, cancer cat does not eat well, my beloved furball. I’m grateful he is active and his funny lovely self.

I’m grateful I don’t force me to do things. I’m grateful that I notice the urge to do because this and that needs to be done. Yes, it needs to be done. So what? What happens if I don’t … (fill in whatever task comes to your mind, here mowing and other farmwork is necessary). Nothing. Absolutely nothing. It must be done before the first snowfall. This is not today. Oh boy, I can have enervating discussions with myself fighting old patterns and engraved mindfuck. I’m grateful this too shall pass.
ODAAT :folded_hands:

I am so very grateful on this beautiful Monday - grateful for

:heart_on_fire: Moving bright and early this morning and got work all set up so that my brother could get other stuff done and not have to be in two places at once
:heart_on_fire: My French Press which came in handy today for my coffee mix. Don’t like to brew coffee too early in the house as my brother can’t stand the smell (he must be an alien  )
:heart_on_fire: Getting in to the gym early enough and getting a lane. Didn’t realize the class schedules had changed and thankfully my swim was not disrupted.
:heart_on_fire: Saying no to someone wanting to do circular swimming with me and a competitive swimmer… no way were we all going to be able to be in sync and it would have ruined the swim for all three of us.
:heart_on_fire: For having the energy to get some work done. Finding a work around when some things did not line up as I needed them to
:heart_on_fire: Getting some time to spend with my mom this afternoon
:heart_on_fire: A good acupuncture appointment. Again it was very painful to start but I was able to roll with it. Feel like it was a good session.
:heart_on_fire: Leftover breakfast food that was perfect for dinner tonight
:heart_on_fire: My family, My Higher Power, My faith and my daily prayer / meditation practices
:heart_on_fire: This place and all of you :hugs:

Wishing everyone a wonderful addiction free day / evening - sending you all so much love

I have a desk job and have had some major mobility problems lately between my hips & ankle, so my step goal currently is only 5k a day. I’m grateful even on the days I don’t quite meet that I am close. I am also grateful that I can walk and move as there has been several times in the past year just stepping was barely possible between both injuries. Progress, not perfection!

Grateful for a productive day off from work today.

Grateful I got my vintage Wurlitzer piano out of my Mom’s garage and back in it’s rightful home! It’s like being reunited with a long lost pal.

Grateful for sufficient rest this morning, and a DIY haircut that came out pretty dang good if I may say so myself!

Grateful I could help out my Mom today.

Grateful for time to journal and be alone.

Grateful for coffee, coffee, coffee!

Grateful for this good vibe and peaceful frame of mind I’m in right now. Hope it stays with me for a while. :sparkles:
