Oh I 100% knew what you meant, just saw an opportunity to bug you and be troublesome
You little devil you, can see youāre alright today!
My thoughts are with you and with everyone affected by this event.
It was different for me that day. I was barely 10 years old, and being the local paper boy I knew unbelievable tragic stuff I didnāt understand happened all the time, I didnāt understand why this was different nor did I grasp the scale of it at the time. My parents gave us a ride to school that day, and explained simply what happened on the way to school, and I got another 10-year-old explanation at school. I mostly just remember it changed how the world seemed to work overnight. Itās in retrospect where it all unfolded for me.
Morning/evening all. Up at 4.30 this morning
Hope you are all ok.
Hey Geoff, why so early man!? All good hereā¦storming outside now, drinking some mint tea, and āthinkingā about going to sleep at a reasonable hour.
Alright Tom. Nice to chat to you again buddy. Itās always a bit busy these days.
Donāt know why Iām up. Had to visit the little boys room then not able to get back to sleep. So now on my second, yes second cup of coffee.
Arenāt you due back in your condo soon?
Ahhhh, and now that youāve gone to the coffee, thereās no turning back! I look forward to mornings so much these days - love them. 2 more weeks my friendā¦we decided to take a home equity line of credit and get more work done since we were already out and the place was torn to shreds! So itās essentially a gut rehab at this point. The project has taken on a life of its own!
Might as well. Thatās the problem with home referbs. If youāre living in them this can be a big put off. May as well make the most of it.
Bet youāll be glad to get back in.
Yes the novelty of living in this rental has worn off for sureā¦we all miss home! Have a great day Geo and anyone else who shows upā¦talk soon
Night Tom.
Helloā¦ good day (overall).
Love/hate relationship with my phone. Lets me stay connected, but demands a lot of my patience. It may as well be steam-powered. Harder to share much when Iām away as a result.
Appointment less good than I hoped, but ended the day happy and relaxed (very tired in fact) chatting with my parents on the back patio. Perfect close to the day.
Hope you all are also doing well. Night Tom, morning Geoff.
Enjoy your family time sir
Great to see that smile James.
430am for me as well (although weāre in different time zones).
Happy Thursday, folks! No lunch to make for little man, as they have option pizza days Thursday you can purchase. Just lunch for the hubby (maybe I should get him to make his own ). Off to get ready for work. I also own a teeny tiny wartime house I had purchased before I met my husband. It was my first house, and Iāve hung on to it and rent it out. Undergoing renovations for siding, windows etc. Iāll sneak out at lunch to see the progress. Excited to see the changes. It will be expensive but worth it. Thanks, line of credit! Lol Kind of like sobriety; the effort pays off in the end. Happy sober Thursday, folks
Iāve always made mine. A long time ago when we first got together, my wife used to get up when she didnāt have to and make mine. One day I was late and she was half asleep and getting in the way. I told her this. She hasnāt made my lunches since!
I always got up super early and made his breakfast & lunch. When I said he should make his own, he said thatās one of the reasons he married me
Since the little one came along, I just do his lunch (occasional breakfast that he takes on the road to work) otherwise he just goes to Tim Hortons now (coffee shop). At least I know heās getting some (somewhat) healthy food in lunch. Plus treats lol
She used to do it because she thought it was the thing that she should do. Bless her. She was only 19 and itās what her sister always did for her husband.
