Got that software working ok. Just need to learn how to use it now. I want to start some and record myself.

Progress! What’s the name of the software again? Been a while since I used it. If it’s Ableton, yeah. They make Ableton with enough stuff packed into it to keep even their professional customers busy. It comes with a million features you don’t need to use, and it always looks confusing to me when I open it up. But the thing is, once you know just the bit of it you need, you can just ignore the rest, and it should only be a few clicks here and there. How do you learn best? Exploring, trial and erorr? Or reading an explanation, or watching a video? There’s gotta be a bunch of tutorials on YouTube if that’s your thing.

That’s cool though. Just a step away from having your own music recorded!

Haha I’m remembering me as a kid, I ordered a computer game, and when it arrived, the first thing I did was read the guide from cover to cover! 130 pages or something, instead of actually opening up the game (which came with a tutorial anyways) and playing it

I also used to even read all the EULAs shakes head

I thought about printing them off. 247 pages. Don’t think so!
I may print just the page I want. It’s all to do with arming the channel or somesuch.

Oh yeah, that! All arming the channel is, is saying “record stuff into this channel when Record is pressed”. It’s so that you could press Record to have it record on some channels but not others. But in this case you’ve only got the one anyways.
