I’ve never had the honour of naming a pumpkin before! Or godfather! I’m flattered… so much gratitude… and pressure! I’m flustered! How am I going to think of a name? I’ll have to sleep on it!*

*I don’t feel bad doing this. I went more than a week without a name after being born.

My eldest was nearly 3 weeks before we finally decided on a name.

I believe my parents had a name picked out, but then when I was born, said “No, that’s not the right name, we can’t do that. We’ll think of something else.”

I was a teenager when I found out my real official name is Hannaliisa, not Hanna-Liisa like I had thought and my mom too … Nobody else ever called me with my full name except my precious late grandma.

Good Sunday morning, peeps. My 4 year old asked me to have a dance party this morning. So I awkwardly danced with him. He requested “I like to move it” (he heard it on Madagascar). He’s a challenging little boy but gosh he’s so cute. I love him so much. And he thinks I’m a great dancer which makes me feel better about my terrible sober dance moves I’m thankful for him this Thanksgiving weekend & every day. Morning view from front porch. Water looks cold out there

Busy weekend, thanks for asking, girls left just few moments ago to stay with my friend for couple of days. It’s one week school holiday here. Looking forward to have some naps and Netflix time… how you Geoff??
