Daily Greeting

Took a weekend off. Not done much. Had a couple walks up the hill withe dog.
Cooking roast chicken and looking at a chill afternoon.
All glory to Sundays I’d say.

Mmmm roast chicken my favourite. Especially if there’s gravy. Do you do Yorkshire pudding or just with beef?

Oh that sounds so lovely. I just watched Madagascar 2 the other day with my 7 yrs old. And we always start partying when that song scene comes

Well, it’s that time of year again here in the desert, tournament season is upon us and will be until may. So today will consist of squeezing in sustenance between games and hiding from the arizona sun and other parents for most of the day…for the record, this is not a complaint. I would change a thing…I hope you all are feeling groovy…

@funnydad how’s your anger management program holding up?

I’m still trying to get used to “James” (actually my middle name). It’s how I usually introduce myself these days, but only in the past year or so. I like my first name, but sometimes I just want something that sounds a bit more accessible, and not to start a conversation about it with everyone I meet, or explain how to spell it all the time.

Sometimes I wonder about changing it altogether, to something I feel more connected to. Parents have said they wouldn’t mind that, to do what I want. No plans to do anything about it though.

Do you make stuffing from scratch or a box? Always on the hunt for new recipes. My dearly departed mum used to make stuffing from potatoes, summer savoury etc and I wasn’t a huge fan as I prefer stuffing that’s bread-based…

I’m pretty sure you’ve told me that name before… but cannot recall…?
One of my finnish friends is in process of changing his family name to “Happy”, onnellinen in Finnish. Heard he had quite a discussion with his parents…

I’m pretty sure I haven’t mentioned it to anyone on this forum. Yeah I wouldn’t change my family name.

Box normally. Scratch at Christmas. Well last Christmas because I wasn’t drinking. Before it would be a last minute dash to get it made after coming back from the pub.
