Conair! Top of the morning to ye!
Nope never been, closest I got was sailing up the Irish sea to Scapa Flow.
Iām fairness Conor āfeck ā is definitely more of a southern term !!
Good morning everyone

Actually, now you come to mention it my wife has been saying that sheād like to go to Ireland?
Donāt know why?

Estonian is shorter and softer, more like singing to me. Once an Englishman said to me that Finnish sounds like banging
Wouldnāt knowā¦
I speak the ugliest (and coolest) dialect of Helsinki area
I was going to sayā¦my whole family says feck! Even my Granny did.
Are they from north or south Ireland?
Cork. About as south as you can get
To be sure !
Good morning folks. Back to work today after a Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Today is also pregnancy & infant loss awareness day in my region. Sending hugs to anyone whoās experienced this. I had a miscarriage before I had my son. I was pregnant while caring for my mum on her last few weeks of her battle with pancreatic cancer. I had no idea. I wish I did so she would have known. She never thought Iād have kids. I found out right after she died. I thought it was a gift of life after death. I miscarried however around 9-10 weeks. Dealing with two types of grief was hard. (I had not been drinking during my pregnancy or while caring for her; all my energy & every second of my time was focused on mum). I learned during this just how many deal with miscarriage & infant loss. Very shortly after I became pregnant with my little nugget. So fortunate. Sending hugs to all those whoāve been affected
