Estonian is shorter and softer, more like singing to me. Once an Englishman said to me that Finnish sounds like banging
Wouldnā€™t knowā€¦ :yum:
I speak the ugliest (and coolest) dialect of Helsinki area

Good morning folks. Back to work today after a Thanksgiving holiday weekend. Today is also pregnancy & infant loss awareness day in my region. Sending hugs to anyone whoā€™s experienced this. I had a miscarriage before I had my son. I was pregnant while caring for my mum on her last few weeks of her battle with pancreatic cancer. I had no idea. I wish I did so she would have known. She never thought Iā€™d have kids. I found out right after she died. I thought it was a gift of life after death. I miscarried however around 9-10 weeks. Dealing with two types of grief was hard. (I had not been drinking during my pregnancy or while caring for her; all my energy & every second of my time was focused on mum). I learned during this just how many deal with miscarriage & infant loss. Very shortly after I became pregnant with my little nugget. So fortunate. Sending hugs to all those whoā€™ve been affected :hugs:
