Morning TS people. My brain wouldn’t let me sleep in this morning so I’ve been up an hour on here catching up on all the threads. Waking up at 6:30 on a Saturday is not my idea of a great way to start the day. It’ll be ok. I’m planning on going to my first meeting at 9am. I hear it’s life changing. Stay tuned…

Morning! Was up at 5 again to exercise today, as is my new habit, but I’ve got a knee that isn’t cooperating. Not going to push it. Day has gone okay so far, just low energy. Groceries next, once the store opens. It’s 2 degrees out, but I’m still stubbornly refusing to wear a coat just yet. Can probably go another week still…

You’ll probably not notice any spiders during the winter months here, they’re all pretty inactive. However in the name of good advice, you should not let your wee one go searching around granny’s garage or closets or other dark places, yourself as well. Like all creatures spiders seek warmth on those chilly evenings. I’ll add that should you encounter the hideous looking camel spider there is no reason to be alarmed. They may appear aggressive because of an odd behavior they employ. They dont like light, so if one is in your shadow and you move and they’re exposed to light, they’ll seek to follow your shadow giving the appearance of chasing you. It can be frightful but they’re not harmful to humans so there’s no need to be alarmed. You’ll be fine.

It went well. I happened to be a step study. They started back with step 1 since it was my first time. Trying to decide it I really believe I have an allergy to alcohol… But the rest of it was solid.

Ok I definitely won’t go searching. I think in a gated golfing community but I might be wrong (not that that keeps the creepy crawlies out)

Hmmm, I guess it depends on how old the development is and how much play the golf course gets…I’m also right near a golf course and we’ll hear the coyotes, see an occasional bobcat or snake and get lots of bunnies and birds and lizards. The birds and lizards handle most of the 8 legged freaks. I’ve noticed since the construction phase is finished, there’s much less scorpions. Spiders I’ve never really paid attention too, but I’ve found 1 brown recluse in my garage and I’ve noticed some black widow webs around the house. Not enough to bother me though as the latter is extremely non aggressive.
I’ll just hide in the pool there lol. I don’t mind bobcats & coyotes. It’s the multiple leg creatures that frighten me. Not scared of snakes, however I’m used to non-venomous ones, so I hear there’s venomous ones there which might make me nervous. I’m sure I’ll be fine if we go
