Speaking of wanting to visit, this is the part of BC I want to go to next…
I’m being patient though. Will need to save up for backpacking equipment (or borrow) and find people to go with. Ideally I’d love to hike three days into a provincial park and three days out, or a week if doing a loop or longer linear thing.

Beautiful. Where’s this?
Coquihalla Mountain in the Cascades. I’ve driven through the area a bunch of times (the Coquihalla Highway is the main one linking the Interior to the Coast), but driving through is not that impressive in comparison.
Thinking about a few different places. Like Manning Provincial Park (though I’ve been there before), Cathedral Provincial Park… I just want to get up into real mountains, anything above 2000m will do.

If I could bring everyone here, I would in a heartbeat.
My master plan:
Step 1. Buy lottery ticket.
Step 2. Fly TS friends in to visit.
Step 3. Sneak information on immigration into their hotel rooms (or cabins?) before they arrive.
Step 4. Show them around, and let the experience convince them to never leave.

True. We will have to fly. Especially if it involves anything up in the north… the road network doesn’t connect up there and flying is the only way in in many cases.
But don’t worry, we won’t use any of the sketchy gravel runways in the ultra-north.

And I might be biased, but I like Nova Scotia better. Just my personal experience (and by no means meaning to insult anyone from Ontario) but I happened to find the East Coast more friendly & enjoyable, scenic etc. Miss the ocean!
