I would suggest putting your plan in writing here so you can visualize it. Also that helps for accountability purposes. A meeting (online or in person) for a support group or AA is what may be needed for today to get you started.
Have you thrown out all your drinks at home? Do not go out with friends or to places where drinking is offered… this is not a life sentence but is necessary in early sobriety till you get your sober legs strengthened.
Make that commitment and work on keeping it - you are not alone! It will not be easy and that is why you need distractions and support. Make notes for yourself of why you are committing and the horrors of what living with alcohol have done for you physically, mentally and financially. Read these when you start craving
