Dark Chocolate (TW: Food)

I’ve just learned that Aldi is expanding in the US. Germany’s largest grocery store in terms of market share (I guess) and also how surprisingly this success is because: don’t expect customer service, only a fraction of choice which I appreciate. :see_no_evil_monkey:

Seen 95% at my store tonight and gave it a go. It’s ok but wishing I stuck with my 90%. Maybe it will grow on me over the next few days.

My most recent splurge. This chocolate is so lovely. The scent is really pleasant. Very “chocolatey” in a creamy way. The flavor and texture follow through on that. It melts easily and creamily (not sure thats even a word) in the month, and its definitely a more fruit forward flavor profile. It gives it a lighter flavor that is delightful and almost fresh. The flavor lingers in the mouth like the trailing off of a delicate song.

Did it grow on you?

I did like It better than the first try but I’ll
Probably stick to 85 or 90 percent going forward.

Okey doke, people. There was an article in All Recipes that referred to Askinosie Chocolate (located in Missouri). Apparently, you only buy it directly from them or small shops. There are two in Omaha I may go find! . Out of choices, chefs choose their dark chocolate. Let me know if you try it!

Interesting! I wonder if anyone around here sells them. Let us know how it is if you try it!

This 100% is very smooth, almost delicate. A little earthy. The flavor is very clean and doesn’t linger long after its gone.

It looks so good! I Google Searched it and I would have to ship it over here. Free shipping with purchase over $50 - maybe not to the US. …but who knows??

Edit: NO! I can get it from San Francisco or Las Vegas, probably somewhere else. Now, I will just look and look.

Good luck! I understand the pain of trying to get something shipped sometimes.
