The first 10 days seemed to be the hardest for me so hang on tight for those. What has helped me the most in my recovery is quieting to voices in my head. The sick ones, the ones that tell me I’m not good enough, or I cant do things. I have found a safe place inside me through meditation. Its taken me years to be able to sit in silence, at first guided meditations and mindfulness exercises were more fitting. There is a wonderful app called Insight timer that has hundreds of free meditations on it. We also have a meditation thread where we have shared some of our favorites.
