Battling with SA here.
I’ve been acting out as far back as I can remember, even as a little kid.
Today I decided to download this app and try to track the following: acting out on my own, acting out with others, and just looking at inappropriate material. I’m adding two more addictions as well: to only look at Facebook for ONE hour each day and to quit cracking my knuckles.

Yesterday I bought a new phone, so I can transform my life.
Today unfollowed pretty much everyone on Instagram I used to follow (models).
Downloaded the Big Book.
Found a few SA/SLAA meetings close by (but they only meet once a week here).
Downloaded an app for a gratitude list.
Downloaded a new Alarm Clock app
Downloaded some vocabulary and language apps (to keep me busy instead of acting out)
Sat down and made a huge list of all the things I have to/want to do in the next few days.

Played with Duolingo for hours, read, and wrote emails. Just trying to get through day one!!!

I find the first 24 hours really hard too. The gratitude app sounds like a good idea! Good luck, hope it’s all going well

Wow you sound like you’re on the right track!!! Way to go!!! I highly recommend the 5 minute journal for gratitude I’ve been doing it for a few months and its changes my life♡ Congratulations making it through day One! Soon it’ll be double digits
