Day 17 withdraw

I am on day 17 with no alcoholic beverages. I was just wondering if its still normal to have some withdraw symptoms still? and how to deal with them. I thought I was through them but apparently not :tired_face:

48 days sober after 35 years of stupidity. They get better. I still have good and bad days. Sometimes triggers can set me off or stress. I like getting some fresh air or what ever you can do to get through the minute, hour, or day. Great people here to give you much help and the good vibes needed to get through. Hang in there. We will get thru this together.

Hi and welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your 17 days :star2:
What type of withdrawals are you getting? Sometimes it’s also a fine line between withdrawals and cravings.

You could be experiencing PAWS (post acute withdrawal syndrome).

True u should not get achocol withdraw after 17 days

Post acute withdrawal. We can experience these for up to a year. Pink cloud last for a while, about 4 months and then there is some depressing days. But it will be worth it, it will be better then feeling hungover or tired everyday. Keep pushing

I had headaches for quite a long time I think, and also anxiety (especially in the morning). Plus an insatiable sweet tooth!! Also I felt KNACKERED as my body adjusted. But all of that was 1000% better than a hangover! It gets so much better, hang in there! X

Hi… eating a good meal usually dissipates cravings. And nice refreshing non-al drinks :muscle:
