Yes the secrets do get exhausting! Thank you for putting it into perspective. We’re going to feel so much better with this weight off our shoulders. Let’s keep that in mind!

@NikkiMoon I was an alcoholic before I ever started drinking (at 12) and at 55, I am still struggling, but I will not quit. I had 15 sober years and then made the choice to drink again 3 yrs ago, and then back to rehab last year. Surprise, still an addict! At a meeting the other day, a man over 60 said his first home group ws often chaired by a 17 yr old girl… with 5 yrs of sobriety; wish the could have been me, so keep up the good work!

It’s your life not hers. Your making the right decision. Being self aware is one of the biggest steps and youre already there. Like others have said in the thread the earlier you take action the better it will be. Good luck and keep it going!!!
