I asked the same question bout non alcoholic beers at my 2nd aa meeting to a man that has been off drink for over 20 years and he simply said non alcoholic drinks are for people who don’t drink ever but like to socialize ,there not for people who want to give up their addiction of it,basically it’s all or nothing,cold turkeys the only way forward if you really want that change
