Day 3. Ugh

It’s been almost 3 days…again. Just made a very big move out of state from way up north to way down south. Came back to live with my parents cause I got sick(not related to alcohol issues). Family came down to visit us today. It’s very tempting to just have a glass of wine with my meal so I came on here to vent. I’m full Italian. So bread and wine is life basically. Lol. But I’m trying hard not to give in. I just moved yesterday. I’m hoping to get back to going to the gym tomorrow and work on getting physically better.

Good luck friend! Keep reaching out when you are faced with tempting situations or need to share a craving- a craving shared is a craving vanquished (or at least halved!!). Keep up the good work, and if you need more support read around here for suggestions, there are SO MANY to choose from!

You can do it. It is very important at first to keep busy. Dont give your mind a chance to wander.

Welcome to the day 3ers.
Just got 3 weeks myself. The first couple of days weren’t that hard for me cuz of the 2 day New Years hangover. Day three and on was a bit more work, for me anyway. I find what helps for me is getting up a little earlier and spending time doing my devotionals and/or spending time with my God and/or doing my gratitude list. And then check in here. I usually do all 4 cuz I’m retired and have the time. The support here is wonderful. One day at a time.
:pray::heart:
