Personally I have made some changes and I have worked on my self-awareness and my communication so that I can ask for what I need. Sometimes that means changing plans, or at least changing whether I come and how long I stay, of what we do.
I’ve also learned a lot from the sobriety group I joined. I’ve made new friends there who understand me deeply. I’ve learned a lot from the learning process in that group, and it is changing me one day at a time.
