Nope but it’s just as perfect !! Thank you !!!
Congratulations on all your days!
I’d love to deal with life rather. I’m going for therapy too so it should work well together.
I’ve done it before so I’m really looking forward to not wanting or needing alcohol anymore! Thanks for the kind words:)
Thank uou:) Yes, it was a struggle in my mind but I mananaged:) I feel good about my decision:) I’m up early and going to gym:)
Thank you! I didn’t:) it was a real battle but I’m now really pleased:)
Replace that thinking…
You had years of nice weather, bbq = alcohol time…
It doesn’t have to be but it does take time…
Day 8 and I would love a glass of homemade lemonade…
Learn new thinking patterns and your brain will soon send them signals that alcohol isn’t your thing x
You’re so right. Thank you.
Definitely going to give different thinking a good go:)
Feelings, cravings, and wishful thinking are like clouds in the sky. They all pass in time. It’s okay to have the initial thought, and now you have practiced letting it go. Next time, hopefully, you won’t play with it quite so long and you’ll be able let it slide through your mind without catching on your attention so strongly.
Going sober through situations when we used to drink is excellent retraining of our thinking and actions!
Also, notice how quickly your thinking shifted from the thread title (a glass of wine) to this statement “a few”! That’s our alcoholic thinking and how rapidly it develops.
