I made my wife a study table for under $100
It’s a 7 cuft freezer it was moved out of the way, but when I get that back wall in it’ll go back in there. We’ve been using this tiny shelf that the previous folks left as a “pantry”. Nice to have a legit space. Kids have been hiding in there
Lol, oops! It looks really great! I’d be thrilled with it too!
I want to do it all, right now, it’s been a supreme test and patience builder
That is an amazing treehouse!
Hell yeah, already proud. Came out just like I pictured it in my head
Thanks! I kinda hope I get to hang out there solo one day
If I ate cereal it probably would
How did I get this far in life without a nail gun? How? I got just a basic little 18g brad nailer and it’s amazing how easy it makes life.
Made a side headboard/cubby storage for my daughter out of a sheet of birch ply and half a sheet of beadboard. Sturdy, looks pretty decent and she’s happy with it, just needs some paint and poly now
Anyone have a dowel rod jig they like? Nothing fancy, preferably from Amazon cause they ship with excellent efficiency
Also trimmed the pantry and added a beadboard faux coffered celing look inside, wife loves the coffered look and I’m going to cover the rest of this ugly ass trailer roof with it
Credit is going in the right way, savings is going in the right way, maybe we can buy a house in a few years, until then, this old trailer is my diy guinea pig
Love these projects, great work!
These things have become life! I enjoy the whole process. From inspiration, to brainstorm, to design to fabrication.
I got sober with help from here, AA and IOP. I’ve stayed sober with finding a passion and hobby like this
Can’t wait to see what you’ll do when you get a house!
A foundation and 2x4 stud walls means I can go crazy on weight big lumber, hardwoods, a boy can dream. And a damn garage/shop to work instead of a carport
Yes! A garage will make a huge difference!
I’m picturing you doing Tim on Home Improvements, lol!
Probably with more shenanigans
I can recommend youtube channel “fix this, build that” for someone with a bit of tools and “diy creators” for someone with a small toolbox
Is that a special type of fridge or do they all come in that size over there?
That all makes sense. What kind of self leveling did you use? What did it go on over, is it concrete foundation or some type of wooden subfloor material?
And since when is anything Square and level
