Im having serious problems with dreams about using and watching tv sometimes they will show images of pipes and the urge to use becomes overwhelming. I have not entertained these urges. I just wish the dreams and the urge to use when i see a pipe would stop.

These dreams, the urges, they diminish with each day that you’re sober. As long as you stay sober, they will get less intense.
When you get those urges, just remember that they won’t kill you and they will pass. You can always come here and talk about it or hit up a meeting.

In my first week back to sobriety after several years ‘out there’. Two nights back to back intense dreams of being absolutely wasted. It scared me. At least in the dream my wife was supporting me. I spilled the beans so to speak of my dream as it damn near felt like I had drank. I battled with that device you spoke of years ago and am no longer visited by that in my dreams. Keep going. Keep talking about it.
