Drugs addiction that I want to stop… Please need advice

Alcohol is my drug of choice (DOC) and deciding to get sober was the single most import decision I’ve made!
My advice is to ask yourself, what are you willing to do to get sober? If your answer is “anything”, then you’re off to a good start. And if that’s the case, my second piece of advice is to listen to those who have gotten sober. Many people here who have gotten sober have done so through trial and error, by listening to them, you won’t have to so much.
