Eight Months today. Woo hoo!

So far so good. If it was easy, everybody would do it. It’s definitely not easy. Haven’t relapsed.

Yes EXACTLLY. It’s that simple, yet it’s that complicated. It’s easier than I thought, but harder than I thought.

Congratulations. 8 months is an achievement indeed. I think subconsciously I didn’t want to really give up before. This time around I just keep saying no to my subconscious every time it starts wanting to get high… so far so good.

That’s what you gotta do. Think of that subconscious as your alcoholic brain and retrain it.
Start to change your perception of alcohol and how you see it in your life.
You’ll find it all gets easier the more you do it.
Create a new normal for yourself.
