Electrolytes (LMNT) for cravings

I’m at about 3.5 weeks. A few days ago, I was having pretty bad cravings, and asked ChatGPT for advice, just for the hell of it. It advised me that lack of electrolytes can sometimes trigger alcohol cravings, and advised me to have some LMNT. (I’d previously told ChatGPT that I used to rely on LMNT to recover from binge drinking.)

I’ll be damned, but it seemed to work. Maybe it was placebo, but the cravings went away.

I have no stake in LMNT, and there are other ways to get electrolytes. Just saying what worked for me. I’ve also been taking a bunch of L-glutamine. No clue if/how much that stuff has been helping.

Proper Nutrition and hydration is always a good thing but for me finding a program of recovery and sticking to that program has kept the cravings away for a few 24 hours.

Understood. I didn’t mean to imply that such programs aren’t ideal for a lot of people. But I’m not cut out to be around other people and they’re definitely not for me.
