They have to be closed when they reach a certain amount of posts, they have been replaced with new one’s. It helps the app run smoothly 
I’ve set the forum to automatically close topics once they get too large (thousands of posts). Large topics put a lot of strain on the forum, especially when a lot of users are typing and posting to it at the same time. Your account is fine and you are not banned.

And group pm’s past the 500 mark are also closed.
It makes sense though. Other forums do the same. They close the thread after so many posts and start a new one. I’ve seen them do this until they have over 50 threads on the same topic. They label them #1, #2, etc.
