After almost 40 days I failed miserably. Try again

The good thing is; your coming clean and most importantly: your trying again! :muscle:t2: Despite the way you feel right now, you should be proud of yourself!

40 days is great work and you have not lost that time. Glad you are not letting this slip define your sober journey but instead are here trying again. Keep pushing forward and stacking up the days.

Figure out if something caused the relapse so you can be better prepared for it in the future. ODAAT :muscle:t4:

Cdj83 No one drags us into our addiction s .we make choices, good ones that keep us on the path of recovery or bad ones that lead us back to misery pain and self loathing . Try and ask yourself all of @Thirdmonkey s ?s …this time without blaming either people ,places, or things . That’s not the way we get sober that’s the way we stay sick

Don’t beat yourself up friend, I know it can be hard after a relapse feeling numb and confused, keep reminding yourself what you’re here for? You know deep down you can do this

Then today is a great day to start again to live the life you’re meant to live. :slightly_smiling_face:

40 days no drink is far better than 40 days of drink. You know you can do it again. Learn from whatever it was that set you back. It’s so so so hard. When o think about all the mistakes I made in my working career and learned something new every time and became better for it
