What are your favorite cookbooks?

Literally my favorite cookie cookbook of all time. I’ve had it since 2003 and my goal is to some day try every recipe in there.

I’ve made the most amazing crusts from her recipes. Not really a novice book, but if you love to bake it’s worth looking into. She also has a Cake Bible.

This is a great little cookbook that is novice friendly on a lot of recipes. There are some mistakes in the recipes though, which might be annoying for beginners, but mostly it’s great.

Fun fact… I’ve never actually made a meal by following a recipe from a book or any where until I started ordering hello fresh boxes!.. It was so fun. It was like I was in home economics back In high school reading the recipe cards and getting out all the food prepared. It was so fun…but like everything, I go through phases where I love something so much I over kill with it lol then never do it again lol… I have minimal balance when it comes to cooking routines lol :joy:… Definitely not wife material lol :joy:

Mine is in storage so can’t take a pic, but it’s one of my child’s school fund-raisers. Family orientated, home cooked with love.
Makes me mooshy thinking about it.

Have you tried simply cook? It’s online like hello fresh but it’s just the seasonings and flavour pots. I use it loads, always something new to try but you just get the ingredients yourself. Defo worth ago :+1::pray:t2::two_hearts:

I don’t cook much from books these days, but some of my favourites are:

Nose to Tail Eating - Fergus Henderson
Plenty - Yotam Ottolenghi
English Seafood Cookery - Rick Stein
Meat - Hugh Fernley-Whittingstall

I just said today how I liked to cook when I was married. I’d use the Fannie Farmer or Betty Crocker cookbooks. My husband would say it was delicious no matter what I cooked, lol.
Now it’s all I can do to spend 5 minutes in the kitchen!:woman_shrugging:

I love this one for keto/low carb. I’ve made a lot of the things in there. Some are a pain to make, but everything I’ve had has been really good. There are a lot of sweet recipes, but also a bunch of nut butters and some savory recipes as well.
