Feeling frustrated!

I’ve been in an extremely cranky mood since yesterday. I just can’t seem to shake this feeling. It took everything I had last night to not get a bottle of wine. Today I woke up with the same feeling. The past two days I’ve been keeping busy with my studies, house work and even started yoga. Nothing is helping my brain from shutting out the craving for a drink.
I literally envisioned myself with keys in hand. Today will be day 29. I hate feeling this desperate and out of control.

Imagine, if it was day 1, like me? :pensive: o boy oh boy, youre not alone, hang in there

It will get better. Just be prepared for the bad days that come out of nowhere. Lol. Gotta face one problem at a time and go from there. Make a list of them in order of importance and priority. That helps me. Stay strong. This is a bitch of a battle but it’ll be worth it. :grinning:

Thanks S

Hang in there! I had a reset the other day and you do not want to be back there!! I felt sick, anxious, shaky, and was afraid to fall asleep. I didn’t drink what I used to… but after abstaining my tolerance was out the window and I was a mess. Stay strong… try taking breaks and treating yourself to something you enjoy. Stay strong!

You are not desperate and out of control thats the thing. You are just remembering the feelings that landed you feeling desperate and out of control.
From what youve said you are doing everything exactly how you are supposed to.You are strong and know that it will pass.
