I am only in day 3 and my head is pounding I am nauseous and I feel drunk …I really feel miserable today…man what have I done to my body!!! Its my own fault thats making me feel this way…I just have to do it this time…
It gets a easier! It sucks at first and giving in seems like such a better answer. Day 14 or 15 is the hardest for me. I’ve met that goal twice and twice I had to restart my clock. I don’t know why, you would think two weeks in sober you could over come it but that’s my day 3 or me! Best of luck to you!
@Lorrie I’m hoping it will go away for you drink cold drinks either water or I’m a kool aid kid lol. I luv the icy drinks helps with the nausea at least for me. I am 10 days in and my craving has kicked in fighting with myself. But we are string we can do this.
Thanx so much for your support its so much easier to know I am not alone…thanx for sharing your personal experiece with me as well
Thanx so much I am trying very hard not to reset its very hard but you guys support me so well I feel guilty when I want to take a drink hehe
It takes a good three weeks to a month for your body to start adjusting to being sober. Fight it through. It hurts now but it’s your body actually showing you the damage you’ve done to it. Now is when it’s imperative to stay the course.
Lorrie, a LOT OF US go through whats called Post Acute Withdrawl Symptoms (PAWS). It happens wven after detox. WE goota be gentle with ourselves. Keep posting hon.
