Fell off the cliff

Ive been good this year. Not drank. Got hammered last night. Blackout drunk. I’m ashamed. Really frightened though. What I could do when I out of control. Can’t let it happen again

you should consider going to AA meetings

the solution’s there if you want it, or you can keep trying to do it your way.

Welcome! There is a lot of good information and support here. The time you had is not lost. Good nothing seriously bad happened. Waking up not remembering the night before is very scary. But if you don’t pick up today there no worries about that tonight then wake up and commit to it again to not drink for the day.

Welcome. If you want it badly enough, and put in the work, this can be the last time you feel like this. It may feel impossible, but many of us were right where you are now, and managed to remove alcohol from our life completely.
What’s YOUR plan?
The above is a great thread they outlined the process.
We are here to support. :purple_heart:

Welcome to the forum! Im sorry to hear abour ur relapse :frowning: Have u had the chance to look back and see where things went wrong?

Relapses can be useful information if we allow them to be. They can teach us what we need to do for the future. If uv had some time in sobriety prior to ur relapse, do u think getting complacent had something to do with it? I found that to be the case for myself when i relapsed after 3 years. I wasnt doing my usual recovery things anymore and wasnt prepared.

Hopefully this forum can be a big support for u, just like it has been for me
