You are so right about all meetings not being the same. I bit the bullet last night and joined an online meeting for my local area and it was completely different to the one I visited before. It was really welcoming and everyone was so friendly, even going through tough times they showered each other with love and support. And they made me feel really welcome! I think I’m going to stick with this group, as they meet very regularly (daily, am and pm), and do women only groups too.
I think I’m still too nervous to go to the in person one in my home town. Its not exactly a tiny place, but I’m scared of bumping into someone I know, or… Yeah I don’t know. We’d all be there for the same or similar reasons so…
