Fitbit helping my sobriety 20 days alcohol free

Anyone else like seeing the difference in sleep heart bpm? I went from drunk sleep over 72 average down to 62. Feel so much better! Consistent everyday drinker beer and whine after work. Never missed days work. Felt guilty about it. Family man w wife and kid. Doing it for them and me. First post on here. I was sober last year for 69 days. Dry January maybe keep going for good.

Good insight such a watch can give you isn’t it! I’ve a Garmin myself, but know what you mean.
I even have a daycounter on it and that was really helpful in the beginning of my recovery.
Congratulations for the 20 days and welcome here :+1:

Same! I’ve seen that over years. I’m newly sober and see it again. Within days my RHR drops 3 points. I also have data my blood oxygen is higher several points heart rate variation is higher - all this data is considered improved. It happens over days - I was in healthy ranges even with daily wine 1-2 bottles bc I workout eat well diet … but yeah it’s truly for optimal health.

I am healthy too. Thought that gave me a license to drink every day. But it has probably taken many years off my life. I hope I don’t have any permanent damage or get cancer.
