Im about to get started on a pan of beef stew and dumplings,affectionately known “Scouse” in the city where im from, along with the usual dumplings cooked in the stew im making a few baked ones aswell,they are like little crunchy savoury scones,its been a while since ive made this

I had the obligatory tester dipped in the stew, very tasty!
I did an experiment with 72 hour cold fermented pizza dough and it was stupidly good
I added fresh buffalo mozzarella on top of the finished pizza as I don’t like to cook mozzarella when it’s a good quality.

I love cold fermented pizza dough/crust! It’s been a while since I’ve done it but it used to be the only way I would do it. Works great for part whole wheat dough (half whole wheat, half white flour) and give it a lovely nutty flavor. Looks great!

My most recent hack for thinly slicing the last bit of onion. Hold the fork instead of risking my fingers.
And tea done: lamb, broccoli, couscous, beetroot feta and hazelnut salad. I’m hanging up my kitchen gloves now
