I would love to have you over. Hubby gone back to work home and I have the dog. Do you like walnuts? Persimmons are almost ripe too.

Hope you are feeling grand today!

Made it through another busy Weekend at the restaurant. Went to an AA meeting afterwards. Then just walked up to the Sushi place by my house. Very hungry…

Following the Italian theme on from Eric, I cooked a simple pasta for lunch. Spinach and ricotta tortellini.

I pretty much flash cook the raw ingredients briefly as I fold the tortellini in to keep it nice and fresh.

This is a kind of mashed up Arabicesque influence. I dated a Sicilian for two years and the kitchen was the only place that was safe.:innocent::joy:

Gherkins give acidic sweetness. Turkish kebab chillies give great heat and that fruit hit. I also add nutmeg and cinnamon, sometimes capers. It’s all blitzed to a sauce together with a bit of pepper and salt. :yum:

Spend most of the afternoon today making rice noodles and preparing ingredients for Hot and Sour soup and Beef Chow Fun. Was a lot of effort but pleased with the results :yum:

@Alisa thought of you whilst making this. You’re always using cranberries. And there’s no sugar.
