Foodies Unite #3 (trigger warning food) (Part 1)

I worked for Pizza Hut for a bit over 8 years and I loved making my own pizza. So many combos that aren’t on the menu. Well each to their own. I still like ya

I’ve made keto pizza. Chaffle pizza it’s amazing

I love cauliflower crust but never tried the chaffle. I’m not a huge fan of the keto lifestyle since I don’t eat much meat.

Yeah it’s something you have to get use to but it’s not all that bad. Some stuff you have to get use to. I love meat, how do you not eat it lol jk.

That flavor sounds right up my alley. I’ll have to see if that’s one is in my town. I still haven’t gotten another one lol

I eat turkey, chicken and fish. Just not red meat. Not for diet reasons for my cholesterol and it didn’t even help lol so now I just don’t eat it out of habit and it’s hard on my stomach

Well that’s understandable. We’ve tried doing the whole vegan thing before and I love meat too much to do that but if it’s for health issues I totally understand

First time trying my hand at red enchiladas from scratch (except the tortillas) with chicken and they came out soooooo yummy! I’m feeling proud.

Hey, I’m not special but my Mami trained me well. If you ever have questions you can PM me any time! I work off of cookbooks and my favorite sources of inspiration : America’s Test Kitchen, Cooks Illustrated and Cooks Country, I believe they are all part of the same conglomerate. PBS cooking shows have been a go to for me. Also check out Samin Rosrat and her “Salt Fat Acid Heat” series on Netflix and her book is both beautiful and inspirational. If you find cooking to be a passion, there is such a new world available to you!

Thank you for the recommendations. I’ll look into those

And good for you for diving into a cookbook! Like I said, that’s what really helped me get more passionate about cooking. We don’t need to reinvent the wheel but we do need to try recipes and take notes for what we might do differently in the future. Good on you!

She takes care of cleaning my floor. She’s just waiting for me to drop something. Most of the time she lays in the middle of the floor and I have to step over or around her. :grimacing: She’s almost 15 so she’s earned her spot. :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: She basically gets to do whatever she wants.

Just make it with oats and gluten-free flour and then you can do it as regular. Well Vegan butter to. But that’s how I cook. I just replace everything I can’t eat with the gluten-free or vegan alternative. And I know that Finland is leading in Diary free options. Sweden should learn from you guys.

We’ve got Rörstrands outlet not to far away from me. They’ve got those Moomin mugs and they are really expensive. I wouldn’t dare to drink from one. :joy:
