I’m still on my sandwich kick but I made the hubs a burrito bowl for his lunch. It has ground beef, corn, black beans and onions and I put it on rice. I normally add salsa also but I was out

I was still hungry and when my guy heated up his enchiladas, I couldn’t resist. Another “bowl” meal! Just got a grocery delivery of several freshly made soups and some crusty bread for the next few days. The pain has slowly set in
le sigh.

Trying another one. I don’t know why they put a serving size on here. I’m gonna eat the whole bag :woman_shrugging:t2:
Oh and I was allergic to something in that one the other day. Not put me in the hospital allergic but my throat and tongue started feeling bigger. I stopped eating it and took some Benadryl

I had the same thing for dinner tonight. But it was the avocado ranch salad kit. It was great and ya I ate the whole bag, too. I’ll be doing those more it’s just too easy after my long work day and especially on my gym days. Next time I’ll prolly mix in some tuna to get the protein content up.

Bye for now

I love the avocado one. I like to add chicken. But I bet tuna would be good also. There is one that has sunflowers in it and that’s the best one I’ve had so far

I was actually thinking of tagging you on it. Cuz I remember you don’t do meat. But I didn’t think hubby would go for chicken sausage.

Spaghetti of course.
I tossed the zucchini in olive oil and Italian seasoning and broiled it about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile:
Sautéed about 10 oz of chicken sausage with Italian seasoning.
Added a can of crushed tomatoes some chicken stock concentrate, for flavor, salt and pepper and a little pinch of sugar. Let it simmer 5 or 10 minutes.
Then stir in and melt some butter and a little sour cream.
Mix in the spaghetti and zucchini.
Oh save a little pasta water to add at the end if sauce is too thick. You can thin it out with pasta water.
And I mixed in some Parmesan cheese.
And of course topped with Parmesan.

It was really really good. Don’t know if it’s because we’ve eaten out so much lately or what.

I snapped a picture of the recipe.
Good call on the hubs lol I won’t say that it is chicken sausage until he says he likes it :joy:

I don’t care for ground Turkey either.
Heartburn â€â€đŸ”„ :joy: TMI
But I don’t mind the chicken sausage. It’s pretty tasty. And my wife likes it. She’s the fussy one here.

@Runningfree you have any idea what caused the reaction?

I think it was in the dressing. It had a strong taste of ginger and sesame. I’ve never had ginger that I know of. And maybe it was just making my taste buds dance lol I didn’t like the feeling. I have a condition that causes edema so any type of swelling is a halt for me.

It was lovely! Mine was regular milk, no sugar and with an extra shot of espresso. Mmmm

I don’t put sugar in mine either. Only time I put sugar in is when I make a Pumpkin spiced latte. I miss regular milk, even if rice milk tastes a lot like it.
