Foodies Unite #3 (trigger warning food) (Part 1)

Wow, awesome job, Jenna! :muscle:t3:
Editing my post as I realized it autocorrected to “lol” when it was meant to be “wow”.
That’s a great victory @Jennajen!

Oh wow, I missed your post! This is huge! I know a few people who don’t like tomatoes in particular and it’s a level of loathing that I do not understand, haha! Way to go for getting past it!

I can honestly say that I’ve never had SPAM. Tell me what I’m missing? Whats it taste like?

I bought my first can of spam recently and am excited to try it! I tend to like tinned meat stuffs :yum:

Love SPAM. I slice it an airfry it. Make SPAM sushi with it. Made some Haluski the other night, but didn’t have any kielbasa…SPAM to the rescue.

Its very salty ham. Cubes go great in Mac n cheese.

I’ve never had Spam. But I’ve had canned “flakes of ham” in sandwiches growing up shudder. I’d imagine it’s similar?

Monty Python immortalized Spam.

Like a salty spiced ham, which is what it is. Great in all sorts of dishes. Love it in split pea soup.

Cajun ranch chicken Salad. It was supposed to be Buffalo Ranch (Like the best flavor combination in the world) but I didn’t have any hot sauce. And it’s really cold outside so Cajun Ranch it is

Made a quiche for my lunches this week. Although I cheated and popped out to local rural bakery and bought their homemade pie shell. Filled with leftover roasted broccoli, bacon, and extra old local white cheddar & seasonings :yum: Piping hot right from oven:

Yuuuuummy! I love broccoli in a quiche. Have only ever made frittatas though. Might have to try one sometime.
