I love the idea of a fried egg on top of something like that! (It is an egg…I hope!) looks tasty.

I use to always make brownies with fresh rasberries and fresh thick dollop cream and lord were they yummy. Haven’t done that in a few years. The raspberry chocolate combo is perfect :trophy:

I love spam too :joy: I slice it really thin and put it under my grill and its so yummy for a snack! I use to fry it and eat it with garlic rice , that’s yummy too… I gave up thinking about what’s in it along time ago :joy: I enjoy it too much to ruin the enjoyment :joy:

I’m shocked at the amount of folk on here that has not tried spam ! If you want it to snack on , slice it really thin and put it under the griller or just fry it. I get the original flavor. I think in America you guys have different flavors. Original is the best I say. Its good with left over rice , if you cook rice in a rice cooker , the rice the next day is best to fry with, put some garlic and butter in the pan and fry the rice and thin slices of spam. Its a good breakfast. I use to date a Philippino and the mum taught me some good recipes !

There are many: Garlic, Chorizo, Tocino, Bacon, Hot & Spicy, plus the original and low-sodium original. I love them all, but my favorite is Tocino Unfortunately, an aluminum shortage has forced the maker to focus mainly on the best sellers, which are Original, Bacon, and Low Sodium. These I buy by the case, so as to always have some when needed. One of my favorite recipes is SPAM Musubi.

My ex-wife is Filipina. I learned all kinds of recipes. My son says my Adobo is better than his Mum’s…

Anything good is worth buying by the case.

My favorite Italian restaurant from my childhood home sells their sauce in jars. I buy a case every other month. If I can’t get home to Boston, I can bring Boston to me!

I’m debating ordering a case of these  :joy:

Birthday finale! Hubby made me an open faced meatball sandwich with provolone for lunch, and I wrapped up the day with an overstuffed black bean and leftover breakfast mix (eggs, peppers, onions, etc) quesadilla and a whole half an avocado. Just because. Maybe a brownie for dessert later.
