Foodies Unite #3 (trigger warning food) (Part 1)

Omg right! You need hots, oil, and seasoning. Massachusetts especially north shore has the best sub joints hands down. I’ve been all around this lovely globe and always said the thing missing was a good sub shop. Gotta have fresh bread, meats, and cheese. And no Mayo! :joy:

Today was the first day of intermittent fasting this week that I felt super hungry all morning. Probably because dinner last night was pretty light. Here’s my panic wrap: tuna with greens, bell pepper, avocado, red onion and tzaziki sauce.
Edit: And a lime La Croix with half a lemon squeezed in. Mmmm.

I miss fresh Armenian Pita Bread.
There was this little bakery in Salem NH mom and dad would always go to for pita bread. We always had Pita bread in our house.

Going for a Jersey Mike’s today for my little lunch celebration. I’ve had subs on the brain since your meme. Jersey Mikes is pretty good. It’s the best I can do. And we’ll eat it in the car in the parking lot :mask:

We had a place in Lowell called Lena’s. Their Italian was as big as a canoe :yum:

I love a nice homemade pita bread. Dipped in some dressing or with tuna. Delish! :yum: enjoy your sub! We have a sub shop in town that has a three foot long sub… it’s called the Lisa Joyce named after a fishing boat. It’s massive. It’s good for parties.

My Italian was great. NO MAYO.
But now I want a cheesesteak :joy:
I think just the food and wicked attitude is all I miss from back home.

Anyone heard about this “viral” baked tomato feta pasta? I think it blew up on Tik Tok, although I’ve never used tik tok but saw a post & photo on my social media that a friends daughter made it. I was at the store and they were mostly out of feta and I was too cheap to pay $10 for off season cherry tomatoes :joy: But I’ll likely try it at some point, maybe with shrimp and penné pasta

@RosaCanDo That looks amazing! My kind of meal right there :yum:

Another loaf of bread photo, sorry :joy: I mostly like the way it smells. Mmmmm bread air freshener. Stormy day, with whiteouts, so the roads are closed out my way. Spatchcock chicken in the oven

It might even smell better than fresh ground coffee in the morning. Could be a toss up.

Mmm especially fresh grinds. I’ll be giving up coffee for a month Monday so I’ll have to stick to just sniffing hubby’s when I make his morning coffee for work :joy:
