Mine was a little over cooked too! But I like mine med-rare. Still super tasty, like you said.

They are King Oyster mushrooms. Used a lot in Japanese cooking

Stopped at Go Shushi on my way home from chiropractor. Got one of their specialty rolls and my fave. The Indy Roll. Suppose to be named after that big rolling stone in the Indiana Jones movie.

Tomato soup with zucchini and tortellini is coming along! Tastes great. So glad I froze so many tomatoes from the garden. I’ve never used dried tortellini before, so wish me luck! I’m cooking them separately so we can add as much as we want to our individual bowls, and so I can freeze any extra soup if I need to.
