First time making tomato soup. So easy!
How were the tortellini?
They were tasty! The cheese was nice and sharp, but I got no hint of mushroom. Still, super convenient to have them in the pantry.
Pretty salads tonight with tinned salmon and feta. And I found broccoli sprouts from the grocery store today!
You got me thinking of a Greek island. That looks so good. Salmon in a tin ?
Yeah, I’ve been eating tinned salmon for a long time. It tastes like fancy tuna. Meaty. These are actually plastic tubs, a new-to-me product my grocery started stocking recently. Tasty!
Greek island or salad?
Santorini
Greek island. It’s snowing here.
And having a Greek salad in Santorini sounds heavenly. I’m going back to my fantasy
Glad I could take you away like Calgon!
The true greek salad. Like when your in Greece, does not have lettuce in it. I do see you got some lettuce under all the good stuff. So that’s why I went way past Greek salad to Greek island. I’m sick of winter.
So I enjoy cooking and since my booze intake has taken over I lost my spark. But this evening I got back in the kitchen.
Tonight on our menu was
Zucchini Slice with a salad & my delicious crunchy roast potatoes!
Trying the Herdez Habanero Sauce on my sausage egg and cheese tacos. It’s really good. Of course home made would be better but…
a home made one probably would have been too spicy. For me anyway.
So I’ve enjoyed them all so far. Haven’t tried the Rojas? yet. But I’m already running out of the Chipotle one. I used a chipotle mayo for my cheeseburger yesterday but forgot to post it. It was so good. Even went with Cheddar instead of American cheese. @salty would be proud.
That looks super yummy. I keep forgetting to look for the chipotle one! I do have a half a container of chipotles en adobo in my fridge though, so I should just make my own and cut it with some regular tomato salsa. You’ve inspired me!
Surf n turf. Grilled soy marinated shrooms. Roasted cauliflower, carrots and garbanzo beans with cumin turmeric etc spices. Steamed broccoli. Not pictured: a mini cast iron cauldron of lemon garlic butter for dunking. Epic!
