Homemade licorice ice cream topped with a few little pieces of licorice. :+1:

Made by a friend of my husband for a group party. Apparently no one there liked licorice, so the whole gallon ended up in my freezer.

This looks delish, and that looks like a roll toasted to perfection. I base all my encounters with hamburgers on the roll they use. There’s nothing like getting a juicy 8 oz burger on a soggy potato roll-yuck!

Bun and condiment ratio is always key. There’s definitely a lot of shit buns out there.

Birthday cake for @ShadowFax ! Happy Birthday today too! Happy Birthday every day!
Your pie does look wonderful… do you make it like a quiche? Put everything in the pie crust and then all into the oven? You are welcome to add more details of the recipe… ( do not feel pressure to). It looks wonderful and a wonderful gift for your parents on such a special occasion!!

Thanks you Alisa you are so sweet :blue_heart: :relaxed:

What a beautiful dutch cake!

Under huge pressure I will reveal some more of the recipe

Indeed I bake the pie like a quiche.
The dough I made with flower, butter and egg
This you put in a spring form pan,use a fork to make small hole in the bottom
You can add what every veggies you like to it.
Important to first sauté the veggie till the are al dente.( put on a strainer to get rid of excess moisture)
Than add the ingredients that dont need te be cooked like olives or herbs
Than add the egg cream/creme fraiche mixture
Top this off with cheese of your liking.
Bake this in the oven at 200 degres for approx 30 till 45 min ( keep an eye on it, Iturned it down to 160 after 30 min)
Important that your oven gives the pie some good heat from the bottom, to makes this nice and crisp aswel!
Its not diffcult to make this @alisa. Give it a try, if you have more questions you can just ask :blue_heart:

Torte with mixed berries-my mums’ recipe (she’s 91 now and has been baking this cake for us since we were children). I’m 53.
This is quite an achievement for me as l haven’t made this cake for over 2 years due to my drinking habit!

Day 12 and some of my enthusiasm for life is back already!

Yay to me❤️

WOW! Is it jalapeño and garlic in each olive?

Yes! There are not spicy, just super flavorful. I love them. I finally chop them (fine enough so people don’t know there is olive in there) for my my potato salad. It’s heaven.

That is simply amazing. I would love the combo. As it is, I have been guilty of stuffing two stuffed olives in my mouth at once to get the effect…yikes!

They have them at both Sam’s and Costco - different brands. I don’t know if those are in your neck o’ the woods.
