@Jftself yup. The next thing to try is a vinegar based dressing. You can make your own but there are plenty you can buy, too.

I needed some cooking therapy so it’s a good thing I had lots of chopping to do for FIL’s birthday get together :laughing: It’s supposed to be a wild rice dried cranberry & pecan salad but I swapped the latter for toasted sliced almonds. I’m thinking I’ll add those once we get there, along with the roasted pepitas so they’re nice & crunch before serving.

And this dressing! Fresh squeezed :yum: :tangerine: With our local raw honey :honey_pot:

Thanks! I had a little nibble and it was pretty tasty! I was nervous how it would turn out, haha… I don’t use parsley often, but it really tastes pretty lovely. I bet it will be better with toasty almonds & pepitas/pumpkin seeds!

20 lbs of cucumbers being pickled today

Herbs being processed…dry one crushed, new batch cut

Fresh, out of the garden salad for lunch

Once salad is eaten…out to plant clover. Food for mother nature’s 4 legged friends
